Website here. Here's what you get with the doll: The little girl who gets the doll puts on the halter top, and when the doll is placed in close proximity to the petals on the front begins to make suckling sounds. (There's a video on the site demonstrating this, but might be considered NSFW since it shows close up clips of real babies breast feeding.) A friend of mine sent me the link to this, with the indication that he thought the concept was pretty "wiggy." Personally, I don't think its at all disturbing, certainly not as disturbing as that "Baby Shivers" doll which shook when light hit a sensor on the body (and people I know referred to it as the "Crack Baby").
Is this site fake? Little girls like to pretend to be mommies--well, this will get them one step closer.
It's not fake. The toy came out a couple years ago. I thought we had a thread about it here, but maybe it was at trekbbs.
I don't particularly enjoy the idea of a little girl breastfeeding even a fake baby... And what I find funny about this is all the crap baby doll companies get from feminists about how they gear little girls toward "stay at home mom" status. Well show me a boy that wants to breastfeed a fake baby, and I'll show you a closet waiting to fly the fuck open.
No, breastfeeding is creepy, too. It's like cannibalism committed by infants. Granted, it's natural, but being made to see it in public is creepy. People get arrested for pissing or shitting or fucking in public, and all three of those are biologically mandatory natural activities, as well; so the same that goes for them ought to go for any other bodily function carried out in public as well. The world is not your fucking toilet, bedroom, or nursery.
I disagree. It's a very natural thing. I just have an issue with the age-appropriateness of this. Call me old-fashioned.
breast feeding, natural and normal... breast feeding plastic dolly for childrens to play with... bizarre.
