http://www.myconfinedspace.com/2011/09/12/near-ground-zero/ I post a few pics I took of the incipient Freedom Tower and a bronze mural dedicated to the firefighters, and the site admin tags it "9-11...wtf" "WTF"? So I make a half-tongue-in-cheek post about it, and I get this: I gave about as measured a response as I could manage (the 'Florida' crack is 'cause that's where he's from...a lame shot, I admit.) I've been a contributor to this picture blog for a long time, and it was cool of him to fast-track my post past the current month-long queue (he let some high school kid take the reins awhile back and the punk dumped an entire hard drive's worth of pics into it --current submissions won't show up 'til mid-October.) I appreciate that, but sweet barking Jesus...what kind of moon brings out the dickbag in such folks? Anyway...bitch bitch gripe gripe tape up the butthurt & move on... :zen: PS the site allows anonymous comment posts }:]
He went about it all the wrong way, but it's nonsense to assume that 9/11 happened just because "bad people" out of the blue. THe reality is that US policy around the world is what has given rise to much of the anti-American sentiment around the world and it's something to be ignored at the peril of America itself. So, in that sense, what he said is true. However, I don't see why that prevents memorials remembering the many innocent people, far removed from American politics, who were wounded or died that day. It is their sacrifice that should be honour, whether American policy contributed or not.
First of all, anything beyond "oh, shut the fuck up", was wasted calories to your typing fingers. Second...posting to someone else's blog? Fuck that, get your own. It's easy as shit. Easier, you don't even have to drop your drawers and squat.
Exactly. It's not his animus I disagree with, it's that he wasted it on the wrong target. lol...This is the same guy who will write 500-word posts defending the notion that Aquaman is the most powerful superhero in the DC Universe. So yeah...to answer your question: I like feeding the animals at the zoo. See above. As I told someone once at TK: you're talking to the guy who only last year discovered he could toggle between entry fields using the Tab key (and I don't even know if I worded any of that correctly.) My cyber-ignorance is the stuff of legend.
US Policy caused 9/11? What a load of crap. Even with a damn muslim as president the anti-US sentiment is growing. Islam is just a religion of hate and the sooner we wipe this scourge off the planet, the better off the world will be. The only problem I have with Bush is that he was too much of a pussy (He had that in common with his father). After we marched through Iraq, liberating the ungrateful, our troops were massed at the Syrian border, we should have pushed through and caused an "Arab Summer" 10 years earlier.
I did not say that. I merely suggested it contributed because it allowed extremism to build on anti-American sentiment. Let's say you are right. Why is it America they have chosen to hate and not, say Russia or China? I putting your post down as a troll and nothing more as I cannot believe that the small brained idiocy in it is real.
Can't help yourself? Answer all of the post and then throw a line in at the end that it is a troll and can't respond? LMAO. If it was a troll, then you were trolled, however, it was not. They hate America and not, Russia or China because the Islamists hate our freedom and the underlying belief in the true God that is the bedrock of our democracy.
