    Says he's an independent now. Might run for office as a third party (thereby supporting Obama!). Probably will drop out of the race right before the new season of the Apprentice premiers.

    That Donald Trump was once the Republican front-runner at the height of the Birther insanity should tell any rational person all they need to know about the state of the current Republican party.

    Of course, you could substitute Herman Cain, and now Newt, for Trump and the above statement would still make sense.
