This poll is misleading due to an incomplete list of choices. In the other poll, "leave it alone" couldn't crack 50%. That's not a real strong mandate for leaving things alone.
If you have a problem with someone neg repping you or having been neg repped, then you seriously need to find something else to do besides post on an internet forum. People are going to disagree with you. If you don't like that, you have the problem, not WF. Get over it.
Also, I think not liking being negged is kind of the point. Generally people get negged for being a stupid dick. So here's a better solution: don't be a stupid dick.
And I don't even think that's an accurate representation, some posters on both of those lists have said they're in the "don't care" category but voted for one or the other. I think it was more evenly split between "Keep it", "Change it", and "Don't care" in Lanz's original discussion thread. Not that any of the polls really make much difference.

There was a "proposal" that was soundly rejected by several polls and then all of a sudden it was decreed and implemented. I would also like to know what the catalyst for this course of events was.
