I don't follow much current music. But station-surfing in my car I came across "Rumor Has It" not knowing the singer. But damn if it isn't a very unique song. In the beginning of the song she hits a note that just resonates with vibrato. It's about 36 seconds into the song, at least in this version. In some ways it's very crude and underproduced, which I fully support. It has a very raw (first time take) low budget feel. Any thoughts? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_TIFmpSN-c&feature=fvst
My sister got me hooked on Adele. I feel both emasculated and aroused by it all at once. But, I really haven't heard a song of hers I don't like. Shes got a very unique voice and style.
I like Adele's songs but I simply can't stand Rumor Has It. The constant "rumor has it" irritated me the first time I heard it. The rest of the album is great though.
Adele is one of my favorites. The only one I can't listen to anymore is the set fire to the rain one cause the radio plays it every 5 minutes, but really....i love her voice. chubby white chick got soul!
So she's the "white girl with soul"? Hopefully she has a long career ahead of her, and not do an Amy Winehouse.
