After the way the last four years have gone, I'm surprised they thought that they could fill this stadium..

Of course, if they held the speech outside and it rained, you'd just hit the President for making people stand in the rain to watch him.

    Also, shut the fuck up.

    T.R fails again.

If by "struck a nerve," you mean "caused us to point and laugh at T.R," you're correct.

What would you consider an acceptable response to "OMFG, the DNC organizers actually have sense enough to come in out of the rain!!1!"?

Sorry, but your trolling is too fun to pass up. You're like the whiny bitch who can't stand to see Brittney picked on.

What's that got to do with the DNC? Or is this an admission that you never had any serious intent with this thread?

They're calling for scattered thunderstorms, and they've been fairly severe here lately. I'd move it inside too.

Why are you guys trolling this thread? The Dems say they're afraid of rain and the Pubs say it's because they can't fill the stadium. This kind of childish taunting is what makes politics fun.

Of course, I'm not sure why weather should be a factor. If the Obamessiah can lower the seas, he can surely part the clouds for a few hours.

Totally agree. We have the same weather DC gets, but a day or so earlier. All weather fronts travel up I-95 (it's a law). 40 percent is the default forecast for "the weather is so unstable you'd be an idiot to bank on it not raining." Also 40 percent means it will likely rain off and on several times throughout the day/night. No fucking way I'd commit to an outdoor setting in this unstable weather.

Yup. There have been flash flood and tornado warnings a little further north of North Carolina over the past two days or so, it's shitty weather all around.

The last thing Obama needs is a bunch of empty chairs in the arena during his speech..the symbolic nature of that after the Clint Eastwood bit would be too much.

It was all over the news here that they could not find enough people to fill the stands. The weather was a convenient excuse for them but its not wet or raining. Just bullshit as usual.

    T.R fails again.

This is great. You guys create your own propaganda in order to convince yourselves that Obama won't be reelected. Now you can all stay home on November 6th and wait for your fantasy to come true.
