Given how unpopular Obamacare is with the electorate, I'd say yes. I imagine some of the more popular reforms (pre-existing conditions, etc.) will survive.
Just because Skrain doesn't like it... Is health insurance reform legislation the new Supreme Court decision? Not in any way.
The effects are yet to be seen. I imagine that if there's a significant improvement for many people because of Obamacare (long shot, I know) it will become politically difficult to repeal it.
Skrain should print out Obamacare, go down to his barbeque, get a safety lighter, and totally burn that thing! And take pictures!
Obamacare will remain or it will be "repealed and replaced" with Romneycare. Just kidding. Even if Romney was elected, he would stall for a couple of years until the democrats retook Congress so republicans can blame them for obstructing progress in that direction. Meanwhile, morons everywhere will shout "Damn! Well, we'll show them at the voting booth, by golly!"
Obamacare is the not-new fucking snake oil. "Ehhhh, we're gonna make this less expensive! I mean, oh yeah, sure, it's more expensive, but you just need to look at it from the right perspective... if there's... um... a perspective where it's less expensive while being more expensive! SUCKERRRRRRRS!!!"
Yeah, it'll be real fucking popular with all the people who lose their jobs because of its expense and regulatory burden.
Does the title to this thread mean that skinofevil is a baba dual, or did skin just down a handle of cheap vodka this afternoon?
It means neither, you boot-licking choad. Not that Liet wants anything other than for Americans to lose their jobs and end up dependent on the Feds. After all, the more Americans are dependent on the Feds, the more say the Feds have in Americans' lives which, to Liet, is a thing devoutly to be wished.
And even if that were true, we're not nearly stupid enough to embrace your vision of a populace dependent on, and beholden to, the government.
If being mistaken for Skrain offends you, stop the word salad already and try not being a schmuck. That you write "your vision of a populace dependent on, and beholden to, the government" only means that I probably insulted Skrain in making my mistake. Whether troll or serious, yourt statement is tedious and stupid.
Where do you think you've been these past 4 years? Where do you think I've been? You've supported every policy this administration has instituted that's made people dependent on it. You haven't hidden that up 'til now. What's the matter? Sudden attack of conscience?
