Interesting. Certainly a departure from arguing current weather patterns don't disprove global warming. Still the problem here is the issue has become more political than scientific, and everybody knows partisanship is immune to science.
Extreme climate change is real, it's happening now, and anyone who continues to deny it is an ostrich.
You've got to be a special kind of moron to believe that a hurricane coming up the Hudson Valley is anything unusual given the age of the North American continent, much less the age of the planet. Seriously, you'd have to think that the earth was 6,000 years old or something to think it was unprecedented.
Calling it "extreme" is over-the-top, but anyone who denies that earth's climate changes is obviously stupid. I agree with Clyde, however... the issue has become so politicized that the public may never get the full truth as to what's happening.
