I kept hearing all this chatter about the Game of Thrones a friend of mine told me 'meh, she had a hard time getting into it'. So out of curiousity I downloaded the first book from Overdrive to my Vox (and read it in 4 days)...and then I ordered in the DVDs from the library and told my husband that he would really like them....at first he goes 'WHY would you think I would like this boring show?!' and then it was..well HELLO naked ladies and intrigue... and now he has gone and bought the DVDs and wants HBO just for the Game of Thrones (head smack) So less than a month later I am on book three and he is stalking the mailbox for the second season of DVDs and listening to book one on Audible (because he is dyslexic and I introduced him to the audiobook addiction) ROFL
Season 3 starts on March 31! I just recently finished book 5. It took me the longest because he just keeps packing more and more in...
He keeps killing off all my beloved characters. Although for the oddest reason I kept wanting the Hound and Sansa to have a love affair (not sure why)
