As hard as it is to believe, I am almost to the point of putting John Castle and Zodiak on ignore. I'm not sure I have seen worse childishness from anyone. It's not a question of repulsive ideas; I can handle people advocating things I don't agree with. It's not even a question of offensiveness. Tasvir is more offensive than the two of them put together and I never put him on ignore.

But the two of them spamming up everything with their stupidity is removing a lot of what made WF worthwhile. Not that the level of debate was all that high overall, but one has to sort even further now to find something that is worth reading.

Usually, I ignore someone simply by skipping over their posts. But the sheer volume of inane spam is such that I'm actually beginning to think that the ignore function might have some usefulness here.

I'd never used ignore before (mainly because I couldn't be bothered), but I put Sokar and Tasvir on it a few months ago and must admit that I've enjoyed my WF experience much more lately.

I'm also giving serious consideration to adding John Castle and Ron Paul.

I wouldn't put them on ignore. Their arguing has actually been some of the most interesting discussion lately.

    Which says a lot.

^ All I can say is: If you find their arguing more interesting than any of the other discussions going on here, then your tastes are not even close to my own.

I have both Captain J and John Castle on ignore right now.

Something needs to be done. :bergman:

I try to avoid the ignore function in case something actually interesting gets said.
But you can bet when Garamet and Castle start on each other, the best thing to do is completely abandon thread.

    Nothing will be.

The mods will claim to be handcuffed by either rules or "founding principles", either of which, will be thrown out the window as they see fit for some other situation.

I've seen enough of these instances over the years to unshakably persuade me they just plain LIKE the scumbags.

I use the ignore function on occasion, though it's always temporary. It's usually if one or two posters are constantly sniping in every thread, I'll put them on ignore for a few days until it calms down and I can go back to reading the thread without skipping massive sections of sniping to get to the relevant stuff.

Please create more threads naming me, even tangentially. Please, admit defeat, more and more. You WF fools have no idea how much this fuels me. Only Tamar Garish must have an inkling.

Yeah, I don't get Tamar's humoring of trolls.

"I said stupid shit on the internet."
"I got people to call me stupid."
    "I is master troll!"

I don't get it, but Tamar will always give you props for it.

No, trolling is the art of making you say stupid shit on the internet. Of course, it's kinda hard to tell when it works on you, since you say stupid shit pretty much constantly without any outside influence.

    Yes.

Because I know how trolling works and can recognize effective trolling from crap trolling means I love trolls and am turned on by them.

Grow up, people. Just because you morons get off on feeding them exactly what they want doesn't mean I do. My advice is always to put a troll on ignore, it's the only 100% surefire way to defeat them..they get nothing from you and never will. I get a bunch of bullshit excuses why that is stupid which always boil down to "But I LOVE arguing and insulting them!! I want to play their game and whine about them!" Or they actually buy the desperate troll rhetoric that you're a pussy if you put them on ignore...which is their last chance to convince you to remain their victim willingly.

Of course, this will fall on deaf ears as always and another round of insulting me for stating what should be glaringly obvious truth shall commence.

Zodiac tries way too hard to get people to dislike him. All he does is parrot topics from Stormfront and if we needed that lame contribution, we'd embed a podcast or something. :scorp:

John Castle can get tedious at times, but then there are other times like when he cried like a wounded dog all over Facebook and Wordforge when people posted his picture. If you guys had had him on ignore, you would've missed some mighty entertaining shit. :techman:

Can't say I've noticed any such entertainment value, and not having to scroll through his nonsense has markedly improved my experience of the board over the last several weeks.
