Define if you will "our culture." Did anyone notice the "culture" that was doing the beating? Sadly typical, but black youth rarely attack unless they are in a large group with obviously superior numbers. They don't do the "one on one" thing - they might lose and not look cool in front of their peers. And why not? They know nothing will be done about it, because to charge them is picking on/targeting them. Sorry folks, that's just the way things are, not the way we want them to be.
Did you watch the video? A large group of black girls jumping and beating the crap out of two Hispanic girls. It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure that one out.
What's also sad is if this had been large group of whites beating on two blacks a lot more than the local media from queens would be covering this.That's our media culture for you.

You're not quite getting it Aurora. Live here (and raise a family) for half a century or so and you'll see what I mean. But if you think it's only about being slightly "different" then I can't really explain it to you.

I lived in NY for 50 years. Aurora's right. There are at last count over 100 ethnic groups in the five boroughs, turf lines down the middle of a lot of streets, and any number of "reasons" for the kind of violence in the OP. You guys claim to "understand" gang violence in, say, L.A., because it's Hispanic-on-Hispanic. And you think you "understand" what's going on in that video because it fulfills your need to show that "those people" are animals...as opposed to your own.
