If I understand Dayton correctly, being gay is okay, but gay sex is wrong because it is extra-marital. Sounds like an argument for marriage equality. Good job Dayton!

When you adjudge yourself more highly than your peers wouldn't that be a sign of sinful pride?

You demonstrating that attraction to the same sex is not a naturally occurring phenomenon.

    Point of fact.

I've never committed extortion, acted unjustly towards my fellow man, or committed adultery.

Once again, can ANYONE name any sins that they know for a fact that I commit that I then turn around and condemn people for doing?

    Thought not.

If you have committed a sin at all you have no business sitting judgement over another person's sins...any sin at all...it makes you a hypocrite.

You want to pass judgement on people...you relish it and are searching for loopholes to justify it...but you are wrong.

You are no better than Charles Manson if you have told a single lie, let alone gay people.

doesn't have to be the SAME sin.

there's either unrepentant sin, of whatever sort, or there isn't.

that's assuming, of course, one accepts your definition of sin - which I don't.

You really don't see how being a sinner and casting stones at other people for being sinners is hypocrisy?

You don't see how thinking you are better than other people is a problem??

    Really?

A person who doesn't think they are better than other people in at least some respects should probably simply kill themselves.

I dunno, if I weren't better than Dayton, I might seriously entertain the idea of playing "the brave little toaster's underwater tub time adventure".

Tamar beat me to it...but even aside from the stuff she mentioned, blacks as a whole are still one of those more religious groups in America...and that is about the only reason that most people hate gays and the idea of gay rights and equality.

Which is especially hypocritical given how black shave benefitted quite a bit from equal rights protection, but if humans used logic, we'd all have pointy ears. :spock:

You have no understanding whatsoever of the religion you claim to profess. You don't even qualify as a "white-washed tomb" because you are UGLY on the outside as well as the inside.

If sure seems like you don't know Christ.

If I had no idea what you professed, I'd never in a million years guess that you were a Christian.

Of course. Because sin is okay as long as no one knows about it, right?

    Typical. :jayzus:

And I fail to see how you have a high enough IQ to keep sucking up valuable oxygen.

    Gay marriage solves that problem.

My theory is that Dayton professes to be a Christian only because it would be political suicide in his part of the country not to be one.

His political ambitions are well known. He himself has admitted that he seeks power and control... he thinks he is better than everyone else and is not above manipulating people or forcing his views on others.

His embrace of Christianity is a simply a means to an end. If he was born in Iran, he'd be sucking up to the Grand Ayatollah instead.

Eh. I'd argue that a great deal of those Americans who profess to be conservative Christians are, in fact, worshipers of the Cultural Traditions associated with Christianity, much more so that the God who lies behind all that. The worship a heritage, a way of life, a tradition - not a real God

Hasn't Dayton on many occasions joined in threads leering at attractive women? And doesn't that count as adultery according to the NT?
