I would be willing to bet there have been more people killed in soccer events than terrorist attacks in the western world. Remember Hillsborough??? Near 100 people crushed to death over soccer.
That's okay if someone used fists to kill someone. It's what Europeans who don't have guns do, so it's a classy, traditional way to kill/die.
That was 24 years ago and safety standards in soccer stadia have been massively upgraded as a result. There have been zero further such incidents.
Hillsborough was the result of poor policing and organisation by the authorities, it's hardly a typical incident in football and thanks to the changes brought in as a result of the disaster it's unlikely to be repeated again in England.
ahh ep i so love your half drunken rants hey maybe we need beer drinking contests to go international
American football would probably be a better accepted sport internationally if it had a better name than 'football' -- which only happens during punts and field goals. But then isn't that what Rugby's for?
Rugby is for proper men. American Handegg is for wimps who need to be wrapped in cotton wool. The rest of the world understands this.
The firms and all the violence that goes with that. Its the same everywhere there is soccer. Just google soccer deaths.
When was the last time you want to a match eh, bottleboi? I've been to 8 major matches this season, and have been going to matches since 1996, and have never had any trouble. You're talking out of your arse. But then, that's nothing new for a low intellect alcoholic is it?
