My guess would be she has a really good alarm system and she would hide in the bathroom and lock the door until the police arrived. She could also have a very mean dog. Most burglars don't want to screw around with a house that has barking dogs and a loud alarm. Just my guess.

Personally, I love these sorts of threads because they give me yet another opportunity to point out guns in the home are many, many times more likely to be used on someone in the home then EVER to be used on a burglar. That is a fact.

So please continue your fantasy games and we'll pretend facts don't matter.

Wow, you called me "old" -! No one else on WF has ever done that...at least not for the past five minutes. You're the Greatest Troll Evah! You win the Internets. :fireworks

I just get a kick out of the fact that there've been more than 100 "garamet callout" threads and the boneheads never seem to learn. :bigass:

That assumes anyone would want to ask you a question. So far no one seems that interested in your opinion about, well, anything. Some might be interested in why you ran off and then came back under a different username, but I'm not among them.

Now, do your "hate" riff again.

Dogs aren't always reliable. Some are all bark and no bite, and the best guard dogs are silent - the intruder doesn't know they're there until they've got their jaws locked around them. Even so, they're easily poisoned, stabbed, or shot.

Snakes, on the other hand... :diablo:

    This is stupid.

Guess what? Some people just don't want guns, don't want to be around guns and will never own a gun.

For some people the idea of shooting and killing someone..even if they are attacking you is unacceptable. Stuff is replaceable, living with killing someone isn't easy for most people and many will go a long way to avoid having to deal with it.

We all have the right to bear arms, yes, but choosing not to is just as valid a choice as being a responsible gun owner.

As for the OP's question...duh. Try to escape, hide and call the authorities if possible. Just like many responsible gun owners do before they resort to using their guns...because most of them do NOT want to have to use them either.

^^That's a perfectly valid answer. Would be nice to see garamet reform enough to display that kind of honesty. "I'm not going to answer that question." is perfectly acceptable, but she resorted to the same old dancing she always does. There was so much potential here for her to surprise us all. Maybe next time.

Yes, it is. Though it may not necessarily have been my answer.

If I were as anonymous as the troll who's started, as of this one, seven threads playing out his fantasies about me, and his, as of now, two loyal fans, I might be more comfortable with revealing more information than the troll in question has already scavenged online.

Under the circumstances, not so much. As I say, when the Fat Frustrated Fanboy posts his RL information, then I might PM him an answer. His First Fan, not so much. And you, who can't even settle on a RL name, even less.

And still not one of you three has explained why you feel entitled to know any more personal information about me than has already been dragged in here numerous times under the rubric that I'm a "celebrity" and therefore the rules don't apply.

One would think you of all people would appreciate that, but I guess you're having one of your Stupid Days.

Yanno that quote attributed to Einstein about the nature of insanity? They really think "Oo, I know! I'll troll her and she'll have to answer me!" :hyper:

Then when I dismiss their foolishness, they run around with their pants around their ankles screaming "She won't answer questions!!11!"

Note which posters repeat that and how often.

    Feeding time at the zoo...

In fairness, some members of "gunforge" do come across as "paranoid", especially from garamet's perspective.

Then you consider yourself not part of "Gunforge" ?

because that's the collective she addresses a great deal of her passive aggressiveness and snark towards.

Passive aggressiveness/snark = trolling. I tend not to respond to it very often because I recognize it for what it is. Not just with garamet, but others who do it here as well.

I'm not going to get her to change her mind about guns and I know she's not going to get me to change mine, so I don't often discuss the subject with her.

He isn't. Gunforge is very small, very specific sub-demographic of WF gun owners. Your inability to distinguish them from the larger group is telling.
