The point is that it is completely meaningless. Fools spend weeks repping Dayton for some ridiculous point that no one but them cares about and in two seconds it can be undone at a whim. And redone equally on a whim. It's nothing.
It's nothing? Apparently you don't believe that since you took the time to change it which will of course simply drag rep back into the spotlight once again. Instead of ignoring it you just added fuel to the whole thing by stupidly messing with it as an admin. Congrats. Idiot.
I doubt she would last a week if she wasn't an admin. queue protestations claiming she doesn't care about it.
Behaving like children over rep is their choice. You changing it without even a request from Dayton is a clear abuse of position. Yet another reason the modship should be freshened up. Maybe Dayton should get your job....
Yes, quite easily. I dare say your obvious bias leads you to overestimate her contribution. The bungling mess that was evidenced when she was in charge for a short while last year is a testament to the fact that she is not nearly the crucial cog to WF that some would make out. WF will survive as long as someone pays the bills and people stay around, that's really the be all and end of of it. It's essentially a self regulating community.
The sum of the board's regulars. Without them it fades into nothing. Mods are always removable, especially on a moderation-lite board. But people need to come here to keep the place going.
I agree. And I suspect most members (including Lanzman) agree as well. As should you being a former mod yourself.
We should set everybody's rep power to 10,000, then allow negs to count again. People will swing back and forth all day long!
If rep didn't matter, then none of you would have even noticed who was ranked what when it came to rep. You also wouldn't waste time posting repwhine threads about it, even if you do try to hide the fact that it is repwhine. All you did was draw attention to something you claim doesn't matter.
Joke's on you, because I didn't participate in this rep business. But by all means, continue with the repwhine.
These days I mostly use Tapatalk to check Wordforge... so I don't see any rep comments and I have no clue what people's rep scores are. In fact, I don't even know if any of my own posts are being commented on until I actually log in via my laptop (which is not that often) A nice way to avoid all this rep idiocy.
Not a one of us, including him. ANd as memory serves, we've survived numerous times when Tamar's health went shitty. Those have often been the calmest lulls between shitstorms. Between the admission of this Dayton rep thing and the "drunken amnesia" being the party line for El Chup's sig change, she's showing a whole new level of abusing her position.
Actually Zippy, this sthread eems to be about Tamar being above the rules and fucking with things to stir the pot... again.
The logs I have access to doesn't show anyone changing El Chup's signature...if the Tech Admins have some deeper access, I don't know. But there was no noted staff changes of any of his information...the last noted changes were his name and awhile ago, an e-mail change. How not seeing any sign of tampering is "abusing my position" is beyond me. If that is an accusation that I did it...well, I did not. If I was going to mess with someone's signature I would make it far more interesting than "Dayton " If O2C can find out who is responsible, I certainly hope he does so we can know for sure.
That's pretty much what we agreed as well - Honestly I haven't noticed a connection. I heard she kinda admitted to it but haven't a link. By party do mean staff folks? Cuz "drunken amnesia" seemed more a general consensus than a staff opinion. Keep in mind I was initially blamed for the sig change.
