Probably was, which wouln't have been unusual for the time, and while wrong by our standards, it's mitigated by the fact those standards have, fortunately, changed.

It sure looks like Garament is correct. Muad got mad when his opinion was no longer the majority opinion and without the "me too" posts from his fellow righties he slank off to some cess pool where he would rarely hear someone challenge his bullshit.

 

He left because the board got taken over by the extreme-left douchenozzles and he had no further interest in playing their games.

A couple of weeks ago I was at a Christmas party hosted by one of the most left senators in the country, playing bowls (not even ten pin, instead the old person on a lawn type) drinking with other leftys off the internet and joining in group rants about how our mainstream "left" party is a bunch of right-enabling assholes.

If there are schemes to have the left take over this board, I want IN.

 

I imagine he was just sick of being called a racist all the time.

Even when he's not here people can't seem to stop doing it.

 

Yeah, I've been considering a similar "vacation" from WF. Getting a little sick of the "visionrazor" shit coming up every time a lefty has no rebuttal to one of my claims and that "visionrazor" shit is what they fall back on. I don't really mind it for its own sake, but when that's the best they've got, I'm so not entertained. And I don't come here to be bored.

 

This is why left-forge is dying. All they have is smug self-platitudes and their incessant air of false superiority to fall back on. And when all of the better posters leave the board they pat themselves on the back and continue to feel superior, all the while the walls are crumbling down around them. They seem to forget what happened to other liberal outlets like Air America.

But hey, Obama's President and they are firmly running the country so everything is smiles and rainbows right? Of course they are too blind to see how the country is literally being run into the ground and turning into a police state, but hey, as long as their guy is in charge it's okay.

Call it the Circle of Derp usergroup.

Those placed in it are automatically placed on ignore for all members EXCEPT others in the user group.

Every month someone will check in and see if they are actually trying to contribute to discussions or still just attempting to derail them by arguing incoherently against each other.
