    @The Flashlight is old school eastern Okie bible belt, so his prohibitionist tendencies are really unavoidable. They are a species slave to their base desires, so they concoct moral panics to try to restraint their inability to enjoy things in moderation.

    Well that and I think he's part injun, so it's cultural and genetic. No tolerance for the fire water.

    I had a bottle at an Ethiopian restaurant a few years back and it wasn't bad but not good. Kind of about the same as the US mass market beers though their honey mead was better.

    I've found African beers in general to be slightly sweeter versions of American alt-grain lagers.
