Well that and I think he's part injun, so it's cultural and genetic. No tolerance for the fire water.

I had a bottle at an Ethiopian restaurant a few years back and it wasn't bad but not good. Kind of about the same as the US mass market beers though their honey mead was better.

I've found African beers in general to be slightly sweeter versions of American alt-grain lagers.

Interesting. I've not a lot of experience with African beers other than one kind out of Kenya whose name I now can't remember.
