Hello my long lost friends. I know I haven't been as active on the Forge as I once was, but school and work and life keeps me quite busy. I've tried to keep my Workshop stuff up to date, at the very least, because I know you all like seeing what I'm working on. But, speaking of work, I have an opportunity to really get Petty Torture Productions out there by attending the local Indianapolis Comic Con in March. The only draw-back is that I'm a tad short on the funds to do so. I've set up an Indie GoGo campaign to raise $500, which is the minimum you can ask for on Indie GoGo. It will pay for the Exhibitor Booth and prints of the recently completed Scratch comic, Issue #0.5 to be auctioned off at the Con. Pledges come with Perks, which means depending on how much you pledge, you can get some original work signed and dated, posters, letters of thanks, videos of the Petty Torture crew drinking to your honor, and even a squid hat! SQUID HAT! Anything helps, and this is a MAJOR opportunity to get us out in the local seen doing illustration work. If you can afford to help a fellow Forger, it's certainly appreciated, and you can get some cool swag from me sent directly to your door. You can donate here: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/to-the-indiana-comic-con/x/1690440 Thanks!
Only a week left, and only halfway to the goal. Need more donations! Maybe I need to get Sarah McLachlan to hold a puppy and ask for people to donate to the campaign.... Will you be an angel for a cartoonist in need?
