He should have met my dad and uncles. Their lesson was that when handling a firearm you ALWAYS check to ensure the gun is NOT loaded. Ain't no do-overs here dude!

That's right! Don't point them at anything you don't want to shoot AT ANY TIME! I don't care if you just took the gun apart, there are no rounds in it and none around for 100 yards, and out the gun back together - you do not point it at anything you don't want to shoot. Yeah, glad he's not my vet - he might put a saddle on your pet rabbit and try to ride it or something. That would make a cool picture!
