Well they most likely stand/walk on a filthy sidewalk - a hell of their own making! Sadly those non-gum owners are caught up in the results of the gum owners' disgusting habit of not being able to hold their gum until they reach a trash can. It must be cultural. Notice the picture Europeans on their hands and knees vigorously scrubbing to instill civic pride. So some people are responsible enough to handle gum ownership! Now let's examine high-capacity gumming. Yes, that last pic makes the most pro-gum owner rethink their position. The Founding Fathers never envisioned this capability in the mouths of the average citizen. Discuss!
Bring the chunk of concrete in that last photo to the Museum of Modern Art and it would be appraised at $100,000.
That last one is a "Sarajevo Rose." People would pour colored resin in mortar damage wherever people died as a tribute. When I was there they were all over the place, but now they are disappearing as damaged roads/sidewalks are replaced. Don't tell the museum, I want to bring it in and get that 100G.
I think it's a disgusting habit. But, there are times when gum chewing is necessary - a plane ride, a dry mouth, someone waiting to kiss you ...., Gum is a necessary evil.
