    Hollywood reporter story

I dislike The Revenant intensely — it's a beautifully shot Road Runner movie, in the sense that Leonardo DiCaprio keeps falling down and getting up, and who cares? I don't.

They need to run these kinds of anonymous reports more often because the Oscar voters are some of the snarkiest and wittiest people out there and it's subject matter (Oscar picks) that everybody is very familiar with.

I won't be as mad if Revenant wins like I was last year but Spotlight was the best movie of the nominees last year.

Because it's not about the actual quality of the movie for these voters - it could have been populated entirely with sock puppets and directed by a team of blind schizophrenics.
It's about fairness/justice and historical/cultural significance. If this were the Red Room I'd open up a little about how I really feel about the whole Oscar she-bang.
