I knew about this story from my childhood but never really read in depth. Never really shown us in depth but modified version of this.

It's also very long to read but i managed to get a summarized version off the internet.

I'm startled by this story. The writer/dictator Vyas, created this whole drama. And still some believe that this war actually happened and then written but as Vyas starts the story, it is his prediction. He was/is a sage.

I'm still confused by this. All in all, this is an epic war battle that i want you all to know.

There are proofs of this happenings too.

You don't know what the Mahabharata is? It's only the longest poem ever written!

Have you heard of the Bhagavad Gita? It comes from the Mahabharata.

I have heard of it in name only, and really don't know anything about it. Sounds like the name of a Jewish folk song...

I would say the Gita is to Hindus what the Sermon on the Mount is to Christians (and possibly but quite unlikely, Dayton). God takes human form as Krishna and distills the essence of Hinduism in a 700-verse poem (the Mahabharata itself is 200,000 verses long!)
