You're pretty much saying that people from Little Rock aren't real Arkansasians.

I didn't say that. I said they are elitists. Noted Arkansas columnist John Brummet back in the 1990s IIRC once advanced the idea that the people in Little Rock were the ONLY true Arkansans (Arkansasians indeed........).

He said that southwest Arkansas identifies heavily with Texas. South central Arkansas identifies heavily with Louisiana. Western Arkansas feels closely connect to Oklahoma............and you can go around the geographic areas of the state but you get the idea.

Little Rock is the only largely Democratic Party area of the state left. Eastern Arkansas (the Delta) used to be fanatically Democratic thanks to the presence of so many African Americans.

But now most of the African Americans have self segregated into the larger towns and cities leaving a vast number of small, all white towns that turn out en masse to vote for whoever knows the Koch brothers.
