    FUCK YOU!!!!

If kids have to wear onesies to pretend to be superheroes, instead of wearing their undies on the outside... That is not a universe any of us should want to grow up in.

    You murderer of childhood, you.

So, we're getting Flashpoint for S3 of The Flash.

I'm not sure how that'll jive with the other series' in Arrshverse (I'm determined to call it that!) - given there's no sign that Arrow will be taking place in this alternate reality, especially as Arrow would best equate to Bats.

Be curious to see how they play with it.

Well, Arrow for the most part sucks ass, Legends of Tomorrow is beyond redemption, and Supergirl is just plain awful, so I don't think it matters. The Flash is the only show that matters. :)

I think we have to call it Berlanti-verse now (ala the animated Timm-verse)

It was always going to be awkward having fantastical stuff going on on The Flash that Oliver & Co. don't seem to know about. In this case, maybe you could suppose that what is happening on Arrow is in a different timeline than the one Barry re-set at the end of Season 2. Which will only last until the next crossover of course.

Still, that's been a thing that needed a handwave in comics forever - in one book Superman or the JLA is saving the world from imminent doom, in the Bat-book Bruce is dealing with some Gotham-centric menace, be it Two Face or Hush or whatever, seemingly unaware of the world-ending threat.

He's no wimp, but he's no Cavill, either.

Hate the non-form-fitting boots (at the ankles).

Set aside the 2010's style costume, he's kinda reminiscent of George Reeves.

Due to fan outcry, Jerome is coming back to Gotham.
Oh, the showrunners are acting like it was part of their grand design all along, so let the babies have their bottle, what matters is Jerome's back!!!

    The showrunner for "Powerless", quit.

Based on the reaction they got when Jerome first appeared, the producers should've changed course to incorporate him then.

We have got to be nearing a saturation point on comic book themed content on television.

DC alone has Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow, and Gotham already. There has to be considerable overlap in the audiences for these shows.

CW has one more show before they're 5 days a week.
    :bailey:

Only the superhero genre gets this "saturation point", and "fatigue", talk.
They never minded saturating us with cop shows, or doctor shows, or jail shows, or reality dating soaps.
I say, go ahead and saturate me, I'll just pick and choose my favorites, and catch up to the others later.

Someone set the new Supergirl trailer to the original John Williams Superman theme and it is fucking magnificent.

Hmm. Not sure if this proposed "alternative Earth" series is a good idea or not.
