I can't tell truth from satire anymore

Ugh.

It's internet culture. Where you used to have earnest twats in diners talking about this stuff earnestly, or the wingbats handing out their no spaced, handwritten mimeographed manifestos, they are now able to spill out their stupidest thoughts to millions at the click of a mouse.

I use satire all the time on Yahoo and Reddit. Its especially fun when people dont get it.

I use yellow emojis because I self identify as Asian.

I get it. It's the level of "earnestness" that constantly reaches new heights. I'm as game for an esoteric discussion as the next person, but expecting most people to even know most of these things ("you can change your emoji color") is ridiculous.
