EXCLUSIVE: Clinton Foundation AIDS Program Distributed ‘Watered-Down’ Drugs To Third World Countries

Former President Bill Clinton and his Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) distributed “watered-down” HIV/AIDs drugs to patients in sub-Saharan Africa, and “likely increased” the risks of morbidity and mortality, according to a draft congressional report obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

The congressional report, titled,“The Clinton Foundation and The India Success Story,” was initiated by Rep. Marsha Blackburn, a Tennessee Republican and vice-chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

The CHAI program to help AIDS victims is considered one of the Clinton Foundation’s most important contributions and is probably its best known initiative.

The congressional report focused on Clinton’s decade-long relationship with a controversial Indian drug manufacturer called Ranbaxy, which CHAI used as one of its main distributors of HIV/AIDS drugs to Third World countries.

It also highlighted the work of Dinesh Thakur, a former Ranbaxy employee who became a star whistleblower, permitting the U.S. government to launch a landmark lawsuit against the Indian firm. The company was vulnerable to U.S. prosecution because it also sold its generic drugs on the U.S. market.

Ranbaxy ultimately pleaded guilty in 2013 to seven criminal counts with intent to defraud and the introduction of adulterated drugs into interstate commerce.

The Department of Justice further levied a $500 million fine and forfeiture on the company.

“This is the largest false claims case ever prosecuted in the District of Maryland, and the nation’s largest financial penalty paid by a generic pharmaceutical company,” said U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein when Ranbaxy pleaded guilty.​

It goes on to note that the Clinton's haven't severed ties, and as late as 2013 Bill was still singing their praises. And it gets much worse. In 2000 Clinton signed an executive order that allowed the suspect Indian companies to get a hunk of George Bush's $18 billion in AIDS money. Then Bill partnered up with them, getting millions of dollars in return.

The companies enjoyed great financial profits and they “exploded as they partnered with the Foundation for several years,” the report states.

The study also examined the key players in the Clinton-CHAI orbit, the potential for corruption and how the program ultimately benefited the Clinton Foundation in terms of donor contributions.

One relationship unearthed by the report was the American Indian Foundation, which Clinton co-founded with Indian-American businessmen Rajat Gupta and Vinod Gupta in 2001.

Rajat was convicted of insider trading in 2012 in a sensational trial.

Vinod eventually was forced to resign as CEO and chairman of the company InfoGroup and was fined $9 million in a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation. One of the charges stated Vinod had awarded Bill $3.3 million without board approval.

Yes, as interpreted by the enemies she has who blame her for everything. When you have a finite amount of drugs and more people than you can treat you might dilute the drugs so that more people can get treatment. Remember these are treatments for a fatal disease. These are not cures. None of those people will survive aids. It is a matter of extending time, and dilution of the drug may do that. So it is complete bullshit to claim Clinton caused these people's deaths when none of this was going to cure them and allow them to live out a life without aids.

It wasn't like there was a finite supply of magic drugs coming from the roots of a mystical tree. It was a drug company - that made drugs. It was one of many that the Clinton Health Access Initiative could have partnered with around the world to make sure there was more than enough drugs to treat every gay, transgendered, and cis-gendered AIDS patient on the planet. Bush threw billions of dollars at the problem to make sure that happened, and that no AIDS patient went without drugs. Bono was shocked by Bush's heart.

The money was there. The production capacity was there. But so was Hillary.

And it's far more profitable for her if she watered down the drugs so that the big drug companies made more money, which they then gave to her and her husband ($3.3 million in just one payment to Bill from one drug company), because the Clintons were using some loopholes Bill put in place to make sure the drugs didn't have to meet the same rigorous standards as drugs for white people. So then Hillary used the State Department to grant massive contracts to the criminal drug firms that were producing crap, while the criminal drug firms were turning around and writing million dollar checks to the Clintons - all while millions of people with AIDS were wasting away and dying because the drugs were watered down.

This is the epitome of evil. This is what evil and greed look like when they get married.

Let me get the first part of this out of the way. You do not give a shit about Africans with aids dying. Actually, that is wrong, you actually like it considering what a racist asshole you are. It is really stupid for you to be complaining that clinton is supposedly killing poor Africans with aids. If you could round them up and put them in ovens you would. If it were up to you they would not get any medication. So you can quit pretending you are morally superior.

Now, there are limits to drug production when it occurs in an industrial plant. Resources, time, and potential output all limit production. It is a lie that they could just produce as much as is needed because there are other demands for the resources, time, and industrial output that limit real world output. It has nothing to do with magic trees Mr liar.

Oh and those drugs just lessen the effects of aids so they are wasting away with them . It is just giving them more time, and spreading that out over more people is a valid choice when dealing with this sort of thing.

Um, no. They made the situation worse. You see, without them, the $18 billion dollars that Bush allocated to treat AIDS in Africa would have resulted in effective drugs getting to AIDS patients - instead of millions ending up in Hillary's bank account.

They did the same thing in Haiti, where billions in disaster relief were pouring in from around the world, only to be intercepted by the Clintons at the three-yard line. The Haitians got virtually nothing, while the Clintons and their cronies got rich. One of her cronies who got busted had taken the aid money to buy himself a nice mansion and Lamborghini in Florida. Her brother got the first gold mining concession the country had granted in over fifty years. They all made out like bandits.

Had they not been there, the aid money would have reached actual Haitians.

That's a kickback.

But the main way they were profiting was by using the watered-down AIDS drugs to claim they were "doing charitable work" - when in fact the money was allocated by Bush and they were just siphoning it to themselves, and that claim allowed them to run global scams whereby big oil companies and foreign dictators would give the Clintons hundreds of millions of dollars in return for things like exemptions from US sanctions and special weapons deals (Hillary massively increased weapons sales to the Middle East), while allowing the dictators and princes to claim they were giving to charity to save all those poor Africans dying of AIDS.
