I get "Unspecified error" when I try to edit a post or use the "More options" button on the quick reply box. I also don't have an "Attach files" button anymore. (ETA: test)
Correction: I can edit posts, but before the edit shows up, I get an "Unspecified error" message and it looks like it didn't work. Also, the "Attach file" button seems to be there in Safari but not Chrome. I'll take a look at my extensions and see if I have anything weird turned on.

OK, never mind, I think. I had a "your sign-in details are out of date" message because I think Chrome was trying to sign me in as somebody who used to use this computer. I logged in as me, and the issues went away.
There is one weird thing that's still happening. When I highlight a block of text, click the link button, and paste the URL into the popup box, it doesn't turn the text into a link -- it just inserts the URL right before it.
That might be browser specific. I don't have that issue (Windows 10, Firefox). If anyone else does, this would be the time for them to mention it.
At the moment, in Chrome, the button to make text into a link isn't working for me at all. All of the formatting buttons do, though, so I don't know what's up with that.
At my work computer , wordforge is "read only". I try to respond to threads and there is no cursor - I cannot type or insert anything. I thought at first that it was V Bulletin which "powers" wordforge. But I can go on and use Georgia Outdoor News Forum which is also powered by V Bulletin from my work computer. What's up with that?
I hear you! We used to have Wackenhut guarding our gates here on Fort Gordon, which is an AWESOME name for a porn store.
You're seeing Wordforge in vBulletin? Damn, now that is a problem indeed, as we are powered by Xenforo.
http://www.sitesanalytics.com/site/wordforge.net it used to be powered by V bulletin - which apparently was no problem on my work computer. But about 18 months ago I lost my ability to interact with wordforge on that particular computer.
Yes, indeedy. Wordforge is powered by Xenforo. There is also a bug with Xenforo, where some older versions of Internet Explorer simply will not properly render the page where you can edit or post. I have no intentions of fixing that issue, since everything before IE 11 is now defunct, and since the bug fix is only available in later versions of Xenforo.
It moved servers and changed software back when Lanz sold the board to the original four horsemen, roughly 3 or so years ago.
It's been slow & having difficulty fetching data from the database in the past few days. No it's not on my end. Fix it
I'll be bringing it down for backup this morning. When I do, I'll snoop around and see if anything's wrong.
