Notice most of the so called "celebrities" wanting to leave the U.S. are largely has beens whose most productive career years are well behind them. People needing or wanting to stay in California, take jobs and make names for themselves don't indulge in such foolishness.
I am cool with most of them going. I think Stewart was joking. I also think Samuel Jackson is contracted to stay in the US to play himself in two more Tarantino films. We know Quentin cannot make a film without him.
None of these people re gonna leave. They are gonna think: "I'm rich and famous so none of this really effects me day to day, and since I'm in the 1%, he might actually lower my taxes. Yeah, I'll stay."
