Seriously - we won! If Trump doesn't give a shit, then shut the fuck up! Jesus let's focus on issues that matter. If you are truly behind making this country better, then who the fuck cares about Hillary? Don't let her be a distraction. If the legal system finds her guilty, then so be it. But let them do their job - and let Trump do his job! Or fail to do his job - regardless at this point his job is not to pursue an investigation into Hillary - that's not what we elected him to do. Just because you hate Hillary, it doesn't mean Trump does.
You have every right to feel cheated. Trump's jump to the left brings song to my heart. Let's do the Time Warp, again!
I have no problem with Trump letting Hillary off the hook. She has no power - the left has no power. So focus on making America great(er). Trump has a great opportunity - I hope he takews advantage of it!
Who cares about Hillary now anyway? She has nothing left to live for. Two weeks ago the focus of her entire life for the last 30 years was irrevocably shattered
Bill probably not much. Chelsea to a degree and her two grandchildren. But the thing is she would've had them as well had she been elected president. Now her reputation and her entire purpose in life has been radically diminished.
Until this afternoon, 80% of your post-election posts were about Hillary and her many, many horrible crimes. Murder! Fraud! Treason! Corruption! Murder! Now Trump says he doesn't give a fuck anymore and you fall in line? You're such a pathetic sycophant.
She's going to jail and she's going to get gang raped like it was New Years Eve in Germany. She'll die crying.
I'm sorry to have to tell you this, Captain Chloroform, but no amount of jerking off to your rape fantasies will make your dick any bigger.
Hillary has done criminal/negligent things and would be a terrible choice for president. I wouldn't have checked the block for her if you offered me a Selena Gomez blowjob while I was in the voting booth. That said it's not Trump's place/job to pursue justice with a special prosecutor - it might not even be legal. The FBI is investigating her not for e-mails, but for other charges related to (I think) the Clinton Foundation. Sorry if Trump is not the vindictive, petty president the lefties were thinking he was. And I have been saying all along Trump should let it go - but the FBI is going to do their job. Nothing will come of it however because Hillary is a lawyer herself and has the money & connections to fight/beat any and all charges. Gul has it right when he said we should focus on Trump more and not compare her to Hillary - Hillary is out of the picture and we as a nation dodged that bullet by voting with a sane mind.
I applaud Trump for being an adult about this. But it does suck for his voters. No Clinton imprisonment. No border wall. Soft handling of Obamacare. Cabinet is full of establishment crooks. Christ, what did you guys vote for at all?
And I think it's simply the practical thing to do. It would spend too much political capital that would be better used elsewhere.
You seriously think a president can run any kind of federal government without a bunch of people from the "establishment"
I have a feeling that Trump voters are going to end up feeling like people who went to his shitty casinos, broke and fucked over.
Just so you all know...... Trump didn't say she wouldn't be investigated. The FBI is still investigating the Clinton Foundation. There is more to Clinton then emails. If Trump comes out and says he will or he won't prosecute he could undercut his own Attorney General. It also could force Obama into making a pardon.
If the DoJ finds enough on Hillary to prosecute, I'm good with it. If not, her being President is no longer a concern.
That's a dangerous assumption to make. I favor going Heisenberg/Ender Wiggin on this. Don't just win. Win so decisively that no one ever dares to try to challenge you again. The other side has fought dirty for at least 16 years. And they don't see being magnanimous as a sign of kindness, they see it as weakness. They need to find some good charges, put them in front of a judge, and see this through.
Trump could be playing chess here - you never know with a businessman. As for some of his business' failing? That's part of the game - you can't hit a home-run every time at bat. Some things just don't pan out, and the bigger the risk the bigger the chance of "failure." But your skill set and experience still keep on rolling and building. The process/mechanism of being a winner remains the same, even when the outcome doesn't go your way. Thus some of his ideas might work out, some won't - same for Obama, Bush, etc.etc. etc. You want to guarantee you won't fail? Don't try anything new, play it safe, stay in your comfort zone.
He has a track record of bankrupting businesses using other people's money. This is the guy we gave the keys to the country. Here are some excerpts from Newsweek: He's had some real-estate successes, and a stellar career on TV (I'm not sure why, I've never watched The Apprentice). Today he gets by licensing his brand. I wish him good luck on his current venture; we have a lot riding on it.
You understand that, in spite of its name, "Newsweek" hasn't been a news magazine for years now? It's a commentary magazine. They even say so in their strategy. You might as well go to "The Daily Show" for your news. At least (I'm told) that's entertaining.
Being a political rookie opening up a can of whup-ass on an experienced politician could put a "W" in his record, but that's just my opinion.
I have a feeling Trump voters are going to feel like all those Obama voters who actually thought he'd represent "hope and change," too.
