Not because they are the reason Hillary lost (because they almost certainly were not), but because they tried to fuck with our election. You think we should just roll over and take stuff like that?

If nuclear weapons are on the table, yes, I'm kind of skittish. If, IF they interfered, they did nothing more than a whistleblower might have, and it's not worth "responding" in any way that might provoke war with Russia.

Well, I disagree. Even if the data they stole was true (and I have no doubt that it was), using a cyber attack to influence our election isn't something that should happen without consequences IMHO. It shouldn't go unanswered.

"Bernie funded his campaign without the help of Wasserman Schultz." Yeah, just as Obama had a clever, core-based fundraising scheme so as not to be dependent on the DNC. So, for that matter, did George McGovern. So yeah, Bernie didn't get the big bucks. Whoever thought he would? I'm still not seeing where he got "screwed out of the nomination". He actually had a well-financed campaign, and his supporters were people too angry to be swayed by soap-commercial advertising anyway. He kicked Hillary's ass, or at least made himself a wholly unexpected nuisance, forcing her to address issues that no Clinton, no Obama and certainly no Trump will ever address of their own volition. Jeez, what a bummer for Hillary. In the end, however, Bernie got 12% less of the popular vote and (removing superdelegates here) was, I believe, 359 delegates behind Hillary in the convention balloting. Plus, neither Cinton nor Sanders is a good campaigner. Neither has Obama's Golden Tongue. The author's (and your) attempt to persuade me that, with an even-handed DNC, Sanders would somehow have got the nomination falls flat. Sanders harnessed some of the Energy that put Donald over the top. He had an uphill battle against the party establishment (whom he gobsmacked and frightened the shit out of). But "screwed"? I don't see it. I don't see it because ultimately Hillary had more votes from two key sectors: women and blacks. I'm not a woman and I'm not black (I'm yellow). I actually agree with Sanders' policies all the way down the line, but that's a different discussion. Though there were moments when I wondered, I never really felt he could pull it off. And if he had, he would have been creamed in the presidential election, which is also a different discussion.
Draw foregone conclusions that are unrealistic for any politician, and then excoriate them when they inevitably fail to surpass that assumption. It's what all the armchair pundits do. When all else fails, just claim Obama is a moron. Sure, he's got an educational pedigree that would open doors for him in any prestigious law firm, but he didn't do what Uncle Troy in Backwater, TN claimed he wouldn't do, so he's an idiot, and Uncle Troy would know, because he just knows, you know? Serious answer: You don't, they don't, only Obama and his advisors know, and they're likely working out the best way to go about it. Of course, that doesn't beat street experience, clearly, and you haven't lived until you've seen tense negotiations between rival nations at the corner of 5th and Wilcox.

Nevermind that the question came from a partisan consultant type, not a journalist, never mind that the subject of the question was a very old school issue that Clinton could have addressed in her sleep, and CERTAINLY let's not notice that Cory Lewendowski was on CNN's payroll AND consulting with Trump for months and no one said shit, nor that it came out later that someone at Fox fed Trump debate prep too... Let's be shocked and outraged that Donna Brazile told Hillary someone had a question about capital punishment for reasons!
