Shocked and saddened to hear it.

I pretty much never agreed with him, but I enjoyed the back and forth between him and Hannity in years past.

    RIP.

He may have been a paid lap dog who by contract always had to let the right winger win but that is still too young to go.

I used to love watching that show. The back and forth argument is healthy and good for viewers. Colmes backed up his opinions and never came across to me as a loony liberal. Hannity by himself is hard to watch.

I agree. IIRC they frequently let Hannity interview the liberal guests while Colmes did the conservative ones. A good system in my view. Calling him Hannity's lap dog is an insult that isn't remotely accurate.

Everyone I've heard at Fox describes Colmes as "nice". As Neal Cavuto said, there are a whole lot worse things a person can be called.

To be fair, the right winger usually had facts and a better argument on his side. Colmes did the best he could with a bad hand. He seemed like a nice guy. Sad to see him go so young.

He was a douche, but nobody should have to die at so young an age. Especially not from a disease which no doubt caused him a lot of pain and suffering.

His voice sounded kind of like Jeff Goldblum!
