I am not really sure where all the confusion lies. Men orgasm more because it is just easier for men to orgasm. Straight women orgasm less because most men are done after orgasm, and that might be only a minute or so.
When a woman is with a man, she's traditionally more passive. Passivity is the problem that lesbians and bi's don't have. I tell my lovers all the time: it's your body; I'm not a magician. You need to touch yourself regularly to find out what you like. (Research shows that women who masturbate cum more easily during sex.) You need to take more control during sex and/or instruct me on how to please you better, because I'm very receptive to that.
Not always - sometimes I wish I could orgasm quickly! Generally it takes a minimum of 20 minutes for me, sometimes much longer. I'm sure science has a "syndrome" named for that somewhere.
From what I've read and experienced, foreplay and oral sex lead to more orgasms for women. For lesbians having sex, those 2 are their only real avenues. Men typically just want to stick it in and be done.

I'm not a female, so maybe it works different for y'all...but how do you get to be in your 50s without masturbating? I've talked to a couple of girlfriends about it and both of them started doing it pretty late--18 or 19--so I figure it must not be as obvious for women. But 50?!? I would think they would've discovered it by accident by that point... Because us guys have got it down to an art form by the end of junior high!
