Okay, I'm gonna spoil the twist in post #2 so that even if you hover-over, you won't see through the spoiler code, and spoil yourself by accident. I had this spoiled by Collider Nightmares, and I'm glad it was spoiled, because it made me more interested to see it. Here goes.... Edit- Post #3. Fuggin' Oldfella.
Slit - is that about the crazy guy with multiple personalities who kidnaps two girls? It seems like it would be a hard movie to follow. Does Liam Neeson go super-stud rescuing them? Because that would be cool!
Saw this last night. I didn't spoil myself ahead of time, so when James Newton Howard's score started up at the end of the film, I was like "Wait a minute..." And then the camera started panning around the diner and the score slowly started to build and I said "No. Fucking. Way." And then the big reveal. I may have came a little.
Unbreakable is hands-down the best "comic book" movie yet made. If they're planning a sequel of sorts... The entire sequence in the original film where David Dunn rescues the kidnapped children is still the best "superhero" moment put to film.
Thanks for the "SPLIT" spoilers @Diacanu I would never have guessed that to be the case with "SPLIT" even remotely!
Split 2 is "Glass". http://www.superherohype.com/news/3...s-unbreakable-and-split-sequel-glass-for-2019
If Shyamalan can spoil it on Twitter, I guess I can talk about it now. Unbreakable, Split, and Glass are a trilogy.
I finally got around to watching SPLIT as an in flight movie. I have to get the blu-ray and give it a proper viewing. OM F'ing G!!!
The thing I like about split is that reveal has nothing to do with the plot of the movie and is done in the credits. So knowing it really did not spoil anything for me except I was waiting for the reveal the whole movie. Split is its own movie even though it leaves you waiting for the sequel. It was pretty good.
Watched this lastnight, didnt know anything about the movie or that there was a twist coming. Really enjoyed it as a stand alone movie and then we get to the last 30 seconds in the movie, theres Willis talking about Mr Glass! Fuck me, that was good. Puts new perspective on it as well. Youv just watched a film about a mentally disturbed guy but in reality you are watching the creation of a new villian. Really good!
