With all the racial unrest, hyper-partisanship, self-entitled takers vs money makers, out of control media, etc., could it be possible that we could have another civil war or something similar? I really don't know how far it would go but this country is a runaway beer truck right now. What do you guys think?
Not possible and anyone suggesting otherwise is a fool (no offense intended). The only American civil war was driven to a great degree by sectionalism. Loyalty to ones own state or region and not to the country as a whole. This basically no longer exists. I could be wrong but IIRC the average American will live in at least four different states and work in seven different states during their lifetimes. Under such situations sectionalism is nonexistent.
civ·il war 1. a war between citizens of the same country. I'm not suggesting states band together and fight other states. Citizen vs. citizen. Mass anarchy. Perhaps race plays a major role as well.
Yes, the liberals will rise up and attempt to shame and litigate conservatives out of existence! And conservatives, being the ones with guns, will shoot them all. In the face. Repeatedly.
John Brown Gun Club is a branch of Redneck Revolt, a national network working to stem the tide of reactionary recruitment within white working class communities, fight white supremacy, & build liberatory community defense. So yeah slowly the leftists are realizing they might want to get guns.
Lefties always arm up, in the end, because it's the only way they can get their crackpot reality-impaired ideas in force. See: Russia, China, Venezuela, Cambodia, VietNam, etc. Sadly for them, here in America we've plenty of folks who are perfectly willing to shoot back. So yeah, I think the current situation in our country could easily slide into civil war. I mean, just look at what's going on with Trump. No matter what happens, he retains a core of almost rabid support. When he's inevitably impeached, the narrative is going to be that it was a "vast left-wing conspiracy" and we may see violence - considerable violence - as a result.
And if he's not impeached and removed we may see violence from the other side. But frankly either way I think the country is slowly walking its way to a fight. The country is getting more and more polarized as time passes. Trump isn't the cause of it. He's a symptom.
Yeah, like how it was liberals that started the shooting in the Civil War. Or how all those liberal college kids in the 60's started killing cops. ...in the mirror universe. I think I've finally figured it out. Conservatives are born with a mutation in their optic nerve that makes them actually see into a parallel universe. But unlike Superman's x-ray vision, the poor bastards can't turn it off. They go to the grave having lived this whole other life. You poor, poor, creatures.
For example, Federal Farmer's dumb reps. In the other dimension, I'm probably Baba level retarded, instead of brilliant and powerful like I am here.
Nobody said liberals started the civil war. That's why you get the dumb reps, you consistently create straw men, make shit up and put words in people's mouths.
No, I didn't say they did. What he did say is that liberals inevitably arm up. If it's so inevitable, there should be examples in this country. And not little ones like the Symbianese Liberation Army, but big ones, like...well, the Civil War. All our wars on our soil so far have been kicked off by hotheaded rednecks.
Where intelligent people disagree is with the inevitability part. Saying one side or the other has done so in the past does not make anything inevitable.
You realize that the biggest self-entitled takers are the red states that are currently sucking on the teat of the very same liberal states they rail against, right?
