Trump likes to make sweeping statements that he has no ability to back up and it is making him even more of a fool than normal. Trump likes to issue lots of threats towards North Korea and make ominous declariations about how is going to put a stop to the Kim regime only he never actually does anyrhing so Kim enjoys repeatedly crossing the line just to show everyone he can. Witness todays missile test. Only a fool makes threats he cannot back up and it is perfectly clear that Trump is just such a fool. When even a tin pot doctator like Kim is playing you like a fiddle it is time to reevaluate your pisition but, sadly, I do not think little hand Drumph is capable of such self reflection.
when the conversation goes like this: Critic: "Trump is a fuck up" Trumpet: "Yeah well Obama..." Critic: "" You know that the Trumpet even realizes he hasn't got shit to defend Trump with. Here's the thing - even if one concedes the previous dude is a fuck up, that says nothing justifying the present dude being a fuck up - best to stay on topic.
Fortunately for us, President Trump isn't sitting around doing nothing in response to this, he's golfing.
All things considered, I am quite glad President Trump isn't doing anything about Korea. The alternative would be much, much worse. Since the US is out of the picture (best case scenario) for the next three and a half years, we are going to have to hope for China to sort this mess out.
Yup, just like Obama tried really, really hard to get that American college student who died of brain rot out of N. Korea, but gosh shucky darn, he just ran out of time and had to go para-sailing with Richard Branson. Anyway, it's called sabre-rattling. We've already got some ships doing joint military operations with S. Korea in response. It's already been well-established that launching any kind of attack on N. Korea short of nuking them into oblivion would result in the almost immediate destruction of Seoul and most of S. Korea. But hey, maybe we can drag Alan Alda out of retirement and have M*A*S*H, The Next Generation! Max Klinger's great-grandson will have a whole new generation of women's fashions to showcase!
Time will tell whether Trump will do anything to clean up that godawful mess called NK. That godawful mess was crapped and pissed in by the last guy for eight years w/o even a wipe, after over a dozen years of shit and piss were already dumped in policies of appeasement, self-delusion/denial, and (best possible spin) unfounded optimism following repeated blinks by deluded, well-intentioned "professionals." So, of course, Obama's eight years of mismanaging and self-admitted non leadership re: the most critical hotbeds of international threat and modern barbarism is quite relevant to the current situation, and few have ever claimed Obama was the *only* one shitting up US "foreign policy" to get us where we are today.
Just like Obama did so well on Iraq, Syria, Lybya and Russia. I actually heard a "reporter " say that Putin made Obama weak on North Korea, yeah, it was Putin's fault.
