Mattis has officially announced a six month delay on the planned implimentation of the agreed policy to let trans people into the military. The cited reason for the delay is make sure everything is ready and no disruptions occur.

Just this morning WaPo had an article about Mattis being pissed off at Trump for failing to consult with him (as Sec of Defense) or anyobe at the Pentigon before tweeting out that crap the other day.

You know why he really did it, don't you? It was his drawing a line in the sand on the issue and see who steps to which side. I read somewhere an after-election analysis of Hillary's defeat, and her stance on the transgender issue supposedly hurt her. Remember, the 2018 midterms aren't that far away.

There's nothing really radical about the move - trans people joining the military is a minuscule amount of a minuscule amount of people. IT's more about getting the left into a frenzy over the discrimination aspect of it and ignoring the obvious bigger fish to fry that exist.
