You keep trying to get me to do your homework for you. Seriously, just read the thread and then you will see how the conversation evolved. That way you will actually know what people's positions are.

It isn't "virtually all other ideologies," extremists in every ideology demand the same things from people: Absolute loyalty to the cause (regardless of reality), absolute loyalty to those leading the cause, a willingness to die for the cause, and a willingness to kill anyone who disagrees for the cause, for any reason. You can find them in every group, in every society, and at every point in history. Circumstances dictate which group at any given time will have the bloodiest hands, but make no mistake, all have blood on their hands.

Ideologies can be useful tools, but they need to be treated with caution, and not blindly followed.

Slavery was an institution long before racial distinctions came about.

I don't think any on is saying not to call out criminal organizations. However those organizations are about profit orbiting off of crime and not exterminating people not like them. For the most part Nazis are not about activities like drug sales, prostitution, and other criminal gang activity like those. There for they require different methods to combat their activities.

I would personally say separatist philosophies which use human physical differences like black skin are ways to exploit natural fears of differences in everyone's subconscious. People are probably instinctual fearful or willing to separate themselves from others on visual differences. I think we do need to confront those reactions when they are used like white nationalists do because they lead to prejudicial behavior. That can run the other way also as we see in other countries where white people are the minority. We need to worry about our white prejudices because they are the ones that are going to cause our society the most damage because white people have the power and numbers. Japan would have a big problem with Japanese superiority and white gangs there would not be able to cause the same problems as the yakuza could. This is why I feel even though white nationalist crime may be lower on the violence scale we still need to watch it because we do have problems with racism that exist.
