The TrekBBS Dilemma

When I can't sleep at night I wonder if I should slink back to the TrekBBS. I'd play nice, stay under the radar, etc. Maybe even buy a premium membership.

I know some of you have it out for that board. I know some of you don't. Any advice?

Agreed. Seriously, it ain't all that. If you want to talk Trek you can do it with any of the hundreds of Trek groups that are on Facebook. There's nothing on that board which can't be discussed somewhere else.

Talking on Facebook means going on Facebook, which causes issues for me. There's probably plenty of sites, sure.

I dunno what drove you here to begin with, but if you were one on the toolshed posters like Anduril or Pubert, slinking under a new account isnt going to win you any favors.

Dude, follow their rules or don't post there. I joke about being prebanned because I have heard the rumors about how they are strict and have lots of drama and I can be offensive. So I know I would get banned there. I don't even try because the rules are not to my liking. If you cannot deal with the rules then don't. Don't whine about it other places. Either conform or go elsewhere. It is not like that is the only message board out there. Get over the drama.

My problem was finding a board as active as TrekBBS.

So you have had issues with both TrekBBS and Facebook. Ever wonder if the problem is you?

Of course I'm the problem. Honestly, though, it wasn't as if I was banned from TBBS or anything, I just felt peeved at the administration. And as for Facebook, it's not a question of being 'trouble'. I'm trying not to get @Tererun on my case for pitying myself.

You just get a pop-up telling you to turn it off.
