They have a nice sort of midevil witch dress there with a leather corset that is nice and modern goth on sale now. It goes perfect with spellcasting and walks in graveyards. Sometimes they do have some decent clothing, but their modern wave of Disney and star wars shit along with their Barry potter and still with the nightmare before Christmas crap does get a bit tiresome. Seriously how fucking 90s can you get. It is time for stranger things and 80s punk flashbacks you corporate morons. God damn, there are no banana republics anymore to buy my authentic overpriced 80s mall crap. Thank god for Claire who has remained 80s flare heaven since the 80s.There was a time where I would get more gothic loli stuff from Claire than not gothic because they went all pop Disney. Fuck you assholes, Claire always had gothic gloves and chokers, and the best cutest tights ever. Their Halloween this year had six different catgirl accessories kits at buy three get three free. Not in overpriced gothic.

Anyway, stuck in south floriduh there is nothing but poser stores to use. The girl at Yankee candle doesn't know shit about what scent to use when summoning dark overlords or minions. Bitch, know your merchandise, the fucking goth chick over at Wal-Mart can help as long as you like her tats and nose ring. She doesn't work there, just shops there for unwanted babies for sacrifices all the time. It's great, Hispanic and back kids work just as well as white babies and the cops don't look for them so bonus. Plus you do not even need to sacrifice those Hispanic kids, they do good hard work and construction for next to nothing at six months. They will get you anything you want with no pesky contract with dispater mucking up your weekend.

Ok, I think I have been racist and evil enough for the day. Time for pastel ponies of love and friendship.

Nice strawman. Unfortunately, not everything can be conveniently reduced and projected onto the rep-versus-dem paradigm.

The onus of proof is but a single element of our concept of justice. Another is due process. That’s why it’s considered an abortion of justice for any defendant to receive judgment before an investigation is carried out.

This appears to be the case with Hillary’s email scandal. Transcripts released to the Senate judiciary committee revealed that James Comey wrote Hillary’s exoneration in May 2016 according to his colleagues at the FBI ...months before Clinton and key witnesses were interviewed. Don’t take my word for it, WaPo broke the story along with CNN.

As for Benghazi, I’m not aware of any laws that were broken, but neither do I believe that she was unaware of the nature of the situation or the multiple requests for backup in the weeks leading up to the attack. Do you believe the YouTube story? I don’t.

I’m also not sure why you think my opinion on Roy Moore has changed. Here’s what I said the day after WaPo broke the story:

What straw man? Has Due Process been been followed for the emails? Has she been indicted? Arraigned? Has a court date been set? A jury selected?

I don't believe it, and neither does Clinton. The intelligence was preliminary and incorrect.

I'm not talking about your opinion of whether he did it or not.

How many more? I don't know, and that's the problem. See, I do believe in innocent until proven guilty. The problem is that until recently, women who came forward were either castigated, ignored, discriminated against, or threatened. To speak up about your boss grabbing your ass was to put your job on the line. That is now changing, and it should be a welcome change. Like you, I don't want innocent people to be assumed guilty, but at the same time these women do deserve to be heard, they have a right to the benefit of the doubt.

The reason you're seeing so many of these men get fired as quickly as they are, is because their deeds were most likely well known by upper management, and it was ignored because these men brought in piles of money. Now that the heat is on, the people at the top want to make sure they're not pulled in and found culpable as well, so they're dropping these men like a rock, guilty or not. It's yet one more indicator of just how endemic sexual harassment in the work place has been for so many women. Weinstein, for example, had done it so much he had a reputation for it in Hollywood. People knew, and they were silent. Big studio managers knew, and they kept it under their hats, because Weinstein was making bank, and they didn't want to disrupt the money train. Once the shit truly hit the fan, he was dropped like a rock. It's not like these people suddenly gained ethics, they just realized their asses were out in the open for all to see if they didn't cover them quickly, so Weinstein was canned. We'll likely see more of that, at least for the men who have been habitual molesters of women and have been rich and influential enough to get away with it in the past.

    What John said.

When 40 men call a woman a ho, no one questions it.

When 40 women call a man a predator, we ask for concrete proof.

To reiterate what someone else said earlier: as I'm not on a jury, I don't need evidence beyond a reasonable doubt. I just need reasonable evidence.

I think as long as we try to approach these things with reason, and be willing to change our minds should evidence show something other than what we predetermine, then we'll be fine. If I have one major concern (and I always have at least one), it's that we're becoming a more stubborn, recalcitrant, and polarized society day by day. We set our minds to something, and we stick with it, even if there is little to support it, or even nothing at all. When told otherwise by experts, we ignore it. That's why we're in the state that we are right now. Right now this reveal method is working, but eventually I think we'll need to move away from it lest it become the popular way to try people outside of court. The media doesn't help, because they win either way. They hide these problems, and then when it gets exposed, they cover it. So they get paid coming and going.

Sorry, just a line of thought I wanted to express in this situation.

Ah,but they don't come forward. They hide in the shadows and use lawyers to process the accusations. There is the problem. Each person should have the right to face their accuser in a court of law. Now punishment comes first and then the matter of ones guilt will be decided. It is like I have said before. Each day we become more like the soviet union and they become more like a free country.

But you don't have reasonable evidence. What you have it a conspiracy to bring someone down with several people agreed to synch to the same story.

They require lawyers because retribution is swift and crushing otherwise. Look at it like this: Suppose you're an artist, and Disney steals the work you've created for an animated film, without your consent. You approach them directly, and demand they account for their actions. How likely are you to even get in the front door before you're tossed out and threatened if you speak up? So what do you do? You go and get a lawyer. Now you have a fighting chance to take on someone who is well loved, and well respected by so many. It's an unpleasant task, but don't you have a right to seek compensation for the violation against your intellectual property?

That is what women face every day when they take on well known public figures, men who can often get away with what they want. They're not hiding in the shadows. The opposite, in fact, is true: They're putting themselves out in the public eye, because they have no other choice.

So how do you suggest companies handle sexual harassment? Should they not be allowed to conduct their own investigations and take action?

Do you know how difficult it is to get more than three people to keep a story straight for any lengthy of time? Let alone the multitudes of women who have spoken up since all of this broke? I mean, you were posting here when Borgs got ousted and even the ten people at the center of that have ten different versions of what happened and who did what.

I'll use the Cosby example again, there's been at least fifty women (before I lost track) who came up against him and not one has changed the story up or been discredited.

Every person accused deserves a fair trial. Every accused deserves to have their story listened to. I mean, you'd want that for yourself, right.

First off, you never ever trust human resources or your bosses to do the right things because they just want to cover their asses. Especially if your boss is higher paid, more powerful, and has a big old contract that is hard to get out of. They are just going to try to get you to shut up because you are the troublemaker in their eyes. You protect yourself or you get wrecked, and this is not just for sexual misconduct allegations. That means you get a lawyer to cover your ass because it is much easier to squash you most of the time.

Second, you are a fucking moron if you think these men are getting canned because of some allegation. Weinstein, O'Reilly, aisles, and Lauer are all well protected in the company. Terminating them is hard because of contracts or they might be part owner of the company. If you just fire someone like that they will come back with their lawyers and you will pay. So it is much easier to toss out the lower person because it is far cheaper. You better have your ducks in a row if you want to get rid of someone with a contract who makes a boatload of money. They don't just do it even though that may be all your loser ass sees from the outside. No they have investigations, evidence, statements, and all the stuff you will need to go into court and face off against the accused lawyers because they are going to.

So stop losing your shit over these guys. They did it because if they didn't they are going to get paid and live happily ever after. Sorry you are triggered because guys do not get to manhandle women anymore and destroy them if they talked. Yes, that was happening, and yes things need to change. The underpaid woman in the situation is simply not on the same power level and needs her job so much that she will put up with a lot of shit she should not have to and some guys know that which is why they keep taking off their pants in front of them. Think about what you would do if some dude walked in to where you are and rubbed his hard on all over you because you had to take it or be fired and be called a faggot who wanted it.

By following a fair and legal process, not by immediately knee jerking and firing someone without having conducted an investigation of the facts. By firing him, they can make an innocent man look guilty. By punishing on accusation it is completely unfair.

You said the person has a right to face his accusers in a court of law. So now you're saying the company should investigate? I agree with that. All of the companies I've ever worked for have an established set of procedures that include just that.

So, you are ok with half a dozen getting paid to falsely accuse someone by a salivating lawyer to take someone down. This is the next era of politics and a way for work politics to get even worse. People in corporations work in terror now. All it takes is one accuser at some places. Women certainly have all the power.

I have worked for several companies that have one procedure and that is to react. You can fire someone for any reason or no reason and they do. They could not give a shit if the person did it or not, only to get rid of them as quickly as possible. You work with someone for 10+ years and then one day he is gone without explanation. They love it because others then live in fear. Then there are all kinds of rumors going around. Then they threaten people for spreading rumors. These are fortune 100 companies. The going joke when they fire someone and people are asking why is "he asked too many many fucking questions".
There is no such thing as permanent employment any more. Even when you work some place for years, you know that this could be your last day. The worst crime one can commit is to "fall into disfavor". Once in disfavor it is only a matter of time. That is the other standing joke when someone gets fired. " what happened to Bob? Oh, Bob does not work here any more. He must have fallen into disfavor." I know people who lose vacation every year because they are afraid to take a lot of time off, lest a case be built against them while they are out. So much stress.
