Yeah, well, I'm here now, so there. I've never cared for religion. Morality seems like a simple concept, but apparently "don't be a dick" is too complex for your monkey brains to process. So, you guys create religion to establish moral codes, that are far more complicated than "don't be a dick" for some reason, and then most religions don't even get the "don't be a dick" part right.

I dunno. When he posted that I had an image of all the one-year-olds in Egypt crawling across the desert trying to escape. And, don't forget, @Dayton3 believes that his interpretation of Scripture is the only one that matters. If that's not a claim to godhood, I don't know what is.

90% of the Bible didn't happen, and the remaining 10% didn't happen the way the bible says it happened. If all the Egyptian first-borns were killed, I had nothing to do with it. You bring up an interesting point. I have looked into Dayton's heart and I see that he does, in fact, feel this way. I'd like to see him try. So, for the next 72 hours, Dayton is omnipotent. Let's see what he does with it.
"Lord of Lords?" That is so 1200 BC. Now he prefers "Lord of Hosts" referring (I guess) to a very successful talk show but I've never seen it. The bible isn't really clear on this.

I took a football helmet to the groin once from a player who was sprinting full out down the field. But I still made the tackle.
sorry but when I read about "smiting male children" I can only think that the bible was written by Jews for Jews from the reference point of claiming that they are "gods chosen people." Only some very vengeful, paranoid, fearful tribal people could conjure up some shit like that. BTW I am not saying modern Jews are like this today. Basically almost every society was brutal back then but the bible is their story thus written from their perspective. Their society/religion survived so history is written by the winners.
Yeah. Still hurt like hell afterwards. But the thing most people don't realize that while painful, a groin impact is seldom disabling Though I did work with a coach who took a helmet to the groin (when he was a high school quarterback) and the impact was so great it forced both testicles back up into his body. He passed out from the pain. One descended again on its own but the other had to be "helped" by a surgeon. He had a very hot wife who was a softball coach and bus driver. I noticed that for the longest time they never had any kids but then a few years later they had a baby girl.
