I've met lots of them. A couple of Indians run one of the convenience stores in this small town I live in. At least I think they are Indians. I supposed they could be Pakistani but I do not want to offend them by asking. In the aftermath of 9-11 when we lived at Tyler, TX. and I worked for Lowe's, some guys who I think were Sikhs ran a large gas station where we had a contract to refuel our delivery trucks every day. But they were afraid to stay open the first few days after the attack and our trucks eventually ran out of fuel and we had to suspend deliveries. No matter as with a city wide curfew our business was in the crapper anyway. I remember at the store half the employees spent hours gathered around a TV left over in the Appliance Dept. (Lowe's once sold televisions but had stopped by that point.) It was on the store television that I saw WTC Tower #7 collapse.
Except, of course, for the poor people who don't turn to crime. What would be "the common factor" there?
That might be dependent upon how many low skill jobs you've held? We've got a fairly significant SE Asian population around Toronto, so it isn't uncommon to see people of every ethnicity at any type of job, even the shitty ones.
Ahh, ok. I was thinking of a different thread. Yes, it was the old defense lawyer saying maybe, might have, could be. That is just not very convincing without some sort of evidence or at least comparative analysis give that we are dealing with an admitted murder.
