Pharma Exec Calls 400% Drug Price Jump 'Moral Requirement' Nirmal Mulye defends move, says he's in the drug business 'to make money' No comment necessary.
Didn't it used to be a moral requirement to take pitch forks and torches and burn the inhumane monster, Or was that just for physically ugly people?
If you had single payer pharmacare, a government official would show up at their office and laugh and laugh and laugh at them, before refusing to ever pay such a ridiculous price.
garamet, the woman who lives in abject terror that someone, somewhere is making a profit. Yet strangely enough I don't see her new books offered for free. Not until they've been on the market a couple of weeks anyway.
Why do you have to be like this? Oh, right, someone somewhere hurt your widdwe fee-fees, so that gives you a permission slip to be a cock-knocker forever.
How should I know. I didn't even go to your link. Especially given you run away from my simple questions about your view on abortion.
If I could quote everything in your link and post an in depth analysis you would never take my opinion seriously. Just admit it and stop being a lying hypocrite.
If you're not responding to my questions, why do you expect me to respond to yours? What makes yours so brilliant that you deserve an answer? You have an overly high opinion of yourself on several major issues. And if I send you my new address, will you be sending me free copies of all your books? I'll pay the postage of course.
I do respond. You either don't like the answers or you don't understand them. I can't help you with either.
He says, living with diabetes where his health would decline if his insulin costs were to surge like Uber fare on New Year's Eve.
He's got something of a point as long as others are allowed to make the drug. Production chases profit. With such inelastic prices, whoever makes it cheaper will get their inventory bought first, and the gouger will get nothing.
One of my novels has been available for free for almost 20 years, but you're a-scared to read it. Besides, I wasn't aware that my novels could treat infection. However, one fan told me that when he was undergoing chemo and too weak to lift his arms, his wife modified the bedside table in his hospital room so that he could read Strangers lying down. She would either turn the pages or read to him. Another fan told me that when her fiancé was killed in a car crash, the only thing that kept her from profound depression was reading Star Trek novels, one after the other. I suppose that's a kind of medicine. ETA: I'm in touch with several young women who are named after one of my characters. Beat that with a stick!
Ignore him. Dayton would try to correct a particle physicist, and all without ever cracking a book on the subject. He's so full of bullshit even he believes it.
Dayton coaches football in the middle of nowhere. Let us see you try to do that. Some girl is probably getting date raped by his players and that is something you can't say you let happen. Dayton has better things to do on his layover wait to get into the promised land, and you are a woman so his God is not going to let you in unless you are a slave to some guy. Can't you see his greatness?
Is there some way we can get dayton into some quantum experimentation? I am thinking the universe needs a few more holes.
Honest question. Why do we rely on a for-profit pharmaceutical industry for life saving research and drugs? The government does weapons R&D, it manufactures billions of bullets and military hardware, why not life saving drugs? Why isn't our government on the forefront of ground breaking medical research? Seems a better use of our government's resources.
good point! We do have the FDA which tests drugs for safety & effectiveness - no reason the government couldn't pour some effort into research & developing better drugs! Then they would know how effective they are because they are the very folks who made them.
My previous post makes it pretty clear I'm not too certain on the matter. Notice the fucking question mark dipshit?
Dayton’s being pedantic. The US government manufactures no weapons but it does buy a shitload of them.
So? The person up thread suggested the U.S. government manufacture drugs like the U.S. government manufactures weapons. Which it DOES NOT DO
