This information is very well known across the political spectrum including by those who most criticize Trump. It is also not the point.
The point is that the Feds KNEW all that too, they KNEW responding to PR would be vastly more demanding than Houston, and they did not step up, indeed they did LESS by every measure. From the stubborn bullshit about not wanting to waive the shipping restrictions, to the recently revealed millions of cases of water gone to waste sitting on a runway because FEMA told the locals "bring your own forklift and pick it up" and hundreds of bullshit choices in between.

One can EASILY criticize both parties in congress, previous presidential admins, commonwealth and local politicians for a great multitude of poor choices BEFORE Maria hit. THAT has exactly FUCK ALL to do with marshaling the resources of the richest and most powerful nation on earth to save fucking American lives when they are at risk.

It's the goddamn cancer of this country that so many of us have been trained to believe that their is no higher priority in life than motherfucking money. In the 1930s the electrified a shitton of homes that were not profitable to service, built giant ass damns and then fought a massive war and then rebuilt Europe and THEN built the interstate system in the 50's and STILL ended up the wealthiest country on Earth. Because we taxed rich motherfuckers who, at the end of all that, were STILL rich motherfuckers making the whole country prosperous (relative to the wealth distribution today - obviously there was poverty in every age)

PR got the way it was because we'd rather make rich fuckers richer and spend half of what we do bother to collect on warmaking rather than fix our shit. And it's not just PR's shit that has gone unfixed.

And all of that doesn't mean a goddamn thing when it comes to pointing fingers at the Trump Administration because the question is what you do when the shit hits the fan, not bitch about someone else's loose bowels. They failed. If they had done more, fewer would have died - objectively and indisputably. How many? Dunno. No one does. Same with Katrina, you can't quantify that but you can sure as hell say "your response was shit" - because it was.

Why?

Because it should be interesting to see how he looks at what happened in the last election. He was one of the few that warned people of a possible Trump win and he was ignored. I don't agree with Moore on everything(particuliary his abuse of editing in Bowling For Columbine), but I like to see his perspective. I know it's going to be HEAVILY biased and scenes will take what people say out of context to suit his purpose.

What can I say? I like to hear both sides
