Some of these groups, Family Research Council in particular is extremely nasty in their goals. Their current one is getting rid of all trans people in the US by making it impossible to get access to medical treatment, which is the only medically recommended treatment for trans people with gender dysphoria. This will result in many deaths. I’m not sure if it was FRC, but similar groups went to some African nations and talked them into passing laws against gay people which resulted in executions. They have blood on their hands and eagerly want more.
