Seriously last night my wife saw this on the news and I asked her which chain of grocery stores, which brand of romaine lettuce, etc. I figured there was no way they would issue a blanket warning for all romaine lettuce! We eat it quite often, twice or three times week at least. It's the only type of lettuce I like.

This is the first recall I think I've seen where we've been told to pitch absolutely everything. Normally this is limited to certain regions or batches/production runs.

It does have me consider eating a bit more seasonally. But with my vegetable garden and some canning I'm already halfway there.
