I run every non-trivial Amazon purchase through camelcamelcamel to make sure I’m not buying at a peak. https://www.camelcamelcamel.com/ Just copy/paste the url of anything on Amazon and get full price history: Amazon, 3rd Party and Used. My brother and I are going halves on a 65" Samsung 4k/smart TV. I'm just hoping the 60hz refresh rate isn't a problem. Fred Meyer direct had the best price. Best Buy has a 65" inch Samsung advertised at $599 with 120hz, but it only has 2 HDMI inputs and 1 USB, the one I"m getting has 3 USB's and 2 USB's. We'll see...
120hz would be the minimum refresh rate I’d go with. Not knowing about that, I mistakenly bought our first HDTV with only 60hz and fast action was often blurred/pixelated. The new one I bought in August is 120hz and looks great.
Don't. It's a crap TV. They use cheap video boards and they tend to go out in less than a year. There's a reason they're that cheap, and if it does need a repair, the parts are usually not available. Spend a little more and get a better tv. With Samsung, if the model number is something like 6070 it's not that great of a TV.
Smart color changing LED bulbs. They connect to my Echo so they work under voice command. I’m going to get a white noise generator so I can play the Enterprise background noise and just live in Star Trek.
I know I did! I dressed as a disheveled middle aged impatient guy - a real stretch for me but I pulled it off! Seriously I got in & out about as fast as I would normally on a Saturday afternoon. One purchase was a Walmart online shopping free "store pickup" deal - I really like shopping that way!
that is an INSANE amount of allen wrenches! Like those deep well sockets too. I'd say you got your money's worth but how are the hinges & latches on the boxes? That can be the deal breaker there over time.
The hinges seem decent enough, but not really a concern for me. They're going to go into this in the next few days. I have to organize the tools that are in there first, then put the new ones in. It's a 52 inch, the only difference is mine is red in color.
Barely left the house yesterday. Went to the gym to workout, then out to dinner with friends. Didn't go near a store. Nor today, either.
Yes 6 long sleeve shirts and a pair of jeans from Kohls. Then I went to the grocery store. Then I came home and went online to yahoo because I thought of a great troll post about the story of the first black Friday. The three wise men went to the mall looking for a sale on gold frankincense and murr.
I bought some Bose headphones from Sam's Club, originally $160, on sale for $99. That was it for me on Black Friday. I refuse to become involved in the feeding frenzy at the other stores. Besides, in my experience it's possible to find items at the same prices outside of Black Friday if you're patient and willing to look around at a variety of places.
This. I found better deals on Prime Day than I did on Black Friday or Cyber Monday this year. I bought a couple of Amazon Fire sticks for my daughters and I saw a good Groupon deal on a zippered hoodie that I bought for myself, easily the fewest items I've bought at this time of year in quite some time.
