Trans women use female restrooms, that's the convention over here certainly. How does it follow she is attempting to rape little girls? One does not constitute reason to suspect the other.

May I ask who certified you to identify the signs? Bear in mind I work in forensic services and part of my job involves risk assessing sexual offenders for the courts. Thus far I've seen nothing in @Tererun s' posting to give me cause for concern, can you identify anything for me?

I'm Virtus certified, which also includes a thorough background check of my own. I will shortly be a certified Virtus trainer. I also work with many law enforcement personnel, virtually all of whom feel a biological male should not be placed in close proximity to female children in restrooms. Add his drug issues to the mix and the warning signs are clear.

I'll be honest I'm not seeing what warning signs you are talking about, nor really do I see how you could make such a determination on a message forum. If you have had training you should know that any concerns you have should be reported to the authorities, not aired as accusations on line, much less used as ammunition in ongoing squabbles. You are not a law enforcement officer and no crime has been reported.

You should also know that being transgender is not something we identify as a risk factor in and of itself. That's not because of politics but rather good clinical practise and an understanding of both the dangers inherent to prejudicing decision making and the limitations inherent to profiling methods. Not to mention there's no established link.

If we were to use statistical trends alone to identify high risk individuals then we'd have a very busy time investigating every (a) adult male who was (b) a close relative of a small child given those are the two most statistically significant markers.

Trans women in public toilets have not proven to be a danger, rather most sexual abuse is carried out by trusted relatives or family associates, not to mention that you and I as straight males are a key demographic for offending risk.

I've not heard of Virtus but a quick google search reveals a Catholic organisation which doesn't surprise me given the internal issues the Catholic Church has had in that regard and been forced to publicly acknowledge. It's encouraging that they are making efforts but I'm wary about their qualifications to advise on a subject they have so notably failed to deal with within their own organisation.

Nor am I overly comfortable with someone has has attended an "awareness session" making seemingly unwarranted allegations and claiming expertise on that basis, or for that matter the repeated references to "morality" which strongly suggest said training focuses on the culture of Catholicism above and before evidence based practise. Spectres of 1950s era public information videos about the dangers of homosexuals spring worryingly to mind.
