If Trump was smart, which he is not, he would wait until next summer and then issue an executive order legalizing weed and taking it off the restricted substances list federally. If he did that he would probably win enough stupid votes to get re-elected unless the dems went full on endorsing legal weed. That would really upend the whole thing.

I almost want to see it happen even if it were to mean four more years of trump.

It seems like CBD/hemp altogether exist in a legal gray area. The 2018 Farm Bill legalized it, but airports still sometimes arrest people and federal clearances won't pass you with it, or so I've read. Just legalize the whole damn cannabis plant nationwide and be done with it.

Hemp and pot are considered equally bad in Idaho. The Republican overlords are still in Reefer Madness mode.

agree about thinking "it's only CBD!" :drama: will get you hemmed up. Here in Augusta we have a conservative radio talk show host who swears by CBD and pitches it and has advertisements for CBD businesses on his show. If it helps him out, fine, no problem. But stating "there's no THC guaranteed so you can't get in trouble for it" is just wrong especially since much of his core audience is military/conservative and have federal clearances and drug testing and working on federal installations. You'd be one dumb motherfucker to risk your high paying career over CBD at this point in time, or any time in the near future. So yes unless weed is totally legal at the federal level don't play around with a grey area! :nono:

:brood: no MINI deserves that kind of treatment! That said I've never seen (or noticed) a yellow one. Red seems to be a popular color and green too.

Yellow is a hard color to sell, admittedly. I only see if as often as I did because California is a huge MINI market (like the John Cooper Works model has an auto transmission specifically to cater to the Los Angeles market that buys 75 percent of all JCW automatics in the WORLD!).

My first one was Mellow Yellow. Traded in for a British Racing Green when I worked at the San Diego dealership and regretted that color choice. That car did not stay clean for very long. :brood: traded in for Volcanic Orange (which IMO is closer to yellow than orange) and love it. Here's hoping they'll bring back some shade of yellow by the time this lease is up, but if not I'll go with Chili Red since it's no longer $500 extra for it.

For one, the CBDs actually worked really awesome on my balance issues. I thought it was a joke, but I went from falling over like being drunk to being able to run and jump again within 2 days. There is something to that particular chemical, and it is not the THC. I cannot say that taking too many of them is not harmful, and you only need a much smaller amount that some guy at a shop is selling you to work.

Also, the CBDs and the plants made for medical use are made to not include the THC. I would beware of drug testing as I am sure some places are going to make them illegal because of pharmaceutical bitching, but if you can trust the source to not have THC then you are not taking THC which is right now what drug testing tests for. THC does not magically appear.

As for not getting a high from CBDs I would say there probably is some really low end effect if they are somehow effecting your nerves. But it is certainly less than your OTC meds and painkillers even at higher doses.

There is no law that says you have to take it, and be careful as it seems to be an industry with little research and little regulations as to dosage and safe dosage. Who knows when the drug tests are going to start up for it also. I would also say if you are doing well enough to pass the physicals of the military, you probably do not need them. You are talking about people with neuropathy and other nerve problems. I would assume those sorts of things would get you discharged from the military on a medical. If you are taking it recreationally then it is like any other drug. I don't think the military wants it's soldiers getting high on anything.

the radio show guy takes CBD for arthritis or some such issues. I think the VA is trying to do research on using it for retirees/ex military with various nerve and pain issues. The actual active duty military I doubt will ever buy off in it, but you never know. I think whatever medication works with the least amount of side effects should be encouraged at all levels.

When I was in physical therapy I would close my eyes and fall over if I was not holding onto something and my feet were together. I could never have passed a police drug test, yet I was sober. There was some sort of hesitation in my nerves and I could not get my feet going fast enough to run. I could not get enough momentum in my legs to even get my feet off the ground when jumping. I even had a hard time balancing with my feet together and my eyes open for more than 5 seconds. Things got a bit better after a couple months of therapy and practice, but the doctors were all saying I was never going to get back the balance, and this was something I was going to have to live with. I had to put a chair in the shower because I could not balance and wash myself.

I literally took them as a joke. My main thing was I was going to see if there was a high with them like synthetic pot. I had read some stuff that the CBDs were what made pot Sativa or the other one. One is a more mentally active talkative high and the other was a body high that helps you rest. It was two days. I know this just because before getting the CDBs I got a pair of healed boots that fit me and I fell 6 times walking out of the mall with them on. I was depressed about never being able to wear any sort of heel again and walk around. I was feeling better two days later and put the heels on and I was able to balance and turn, and walk. My pain was down some.

It has not cured me as I still have some balance issues, but the people at the physical therapy place were shocked. They did testing on me for a week, and the improvements were insane. I went from not being able to stand with my eyes closed for more than ten seconds to not falling for over a minute. They had me doing these weird exercises by stepping over a bar and touching it with my toes which I could not do, and then I was doing them. The improvements were stuff that they assumed I would never get. I still have problems, but this has helped me to be able to exercise more safely and walk miles again. I can run and be physically active. I can dance until my feet blister and bleed now.

Who knows what this could do for degenerative nerve problems that face the elderly or diabetic people? It might stop some arthritis, or it might effect fibromialgia sufferers. I did not need much, and you really have to abuse it to get a noticeable high from it. The curative areas start an a minimal dose from what I can see, and more does not mean more cure. People who want benefits but not a high should go for the minimum effective dosage until they have some decent studies. Who knows what a super high dose will do if you take it for a while. Lots of things have a point where you start damaging yourself if you take too much.

I would also be careful with active service being their regulations are much stricter. However, you might be able to get them legitimately prescribed if research is done that shows them beneficial to certain conditions. It is cheap to make, it can come in liquid form to avoid smoking it, and it does not take huge amounts to be effective. It seems to be pretty benign over other medications and their side effects also. On a medical basis I would rather take this for my pains and condition than the higher levels of gabapentin or pain killers. Oxy and gabapentin were not cutting my nerve pain anywhere near what a few drops of CBD ended up doing. They did not presctbe me the oxy for my feet, but I was on it for a few days for a tooth problem, and had some friends donate some from their dental troubles to see if it helped. This did so much better and is not even close to the addictive nature. I am barely even taking it anymore because it lasts. I just make sure to have few drops every couple of weeks, or if I end up smoking up I don't even bother.

My thing is they need to study it. Find out what it works for and what it doesn't. Make it regulated so we can get it from a source that is not as dubious as the local vape shop. IO would prefer to purchase it from a tested secure source where I know the levels and discuss things with a real medical professional who knows if it will effect other medications, and take it in safe levels. Even though I like a recreational high and I am not prone to opiod addiction, I would rather not take opiod painkillers for problems that can be solved by something safer. I don't even like taking tylenol as it weakens the liver and I tend to use mine for other purpses. As qa recreational drug user who does not necessarily want to be super self destructive I prefer to have an idea of what I put in my body so I can do it again. I don't need to over stress my body with abuse of a drug, or bad drug combos. It is dangerous enough what I do, and I have seen enough organ failure and ODing to know that is not fun.
