Damn. My kids and I must have seen the original about 100 times. Please, please, please let this be as good as the original! The eternal battle between the good and evil within all of us...it's the Origin Story of every major religion.

*runs to tell my kids in case they missed it.

I was terrified by it. Must rewatch some day...

It could be a prequel and a sequel. Someone who is set after the original could tell the story of what led up to the original.

It was Trevor Jones' music that got me. And Aughra. Gotta love Aughra.

Watched the first one. Great visuals, so-so voice work, mediocre script.

Starting to watch it. I like how they maintained Henson's puppet movements despite having higher quality technical abilities today. The world is gorgeous. I am realizing I am going to have to watch this on a decent screen for the art and effort. Good thing My sister is a fan of the old dark crystal and she has a nice setup and we can binge with the kids. I am going to have to ask her if she can have a party for the viewing.

I am going to have to sit down and give this a good watch.

Finished it and thought it was awesome. Then I went back and re-watched the original movie, which was okay, but the series is much more rich, dark and fun.

So will you watch that netflixs series with henry caville, black dove?
