If the EMH can slap Tom Paris in the face, the holo-interface can push back against the user's hands.
Their Half in the Bag reviews are generally decent. And they do give positive reviews to new movies. Sometimes the two guys even disagree, which makes it more interesting. The Plinkett reviews are becoming tiring as reviews, but I still get a chuckle out of them for comedy.
It's almost like that guy has PTSD, and also he's from an entire race of people that forcibly rejected logic.
So, what's the plan? Keep shitposting until one of us flames you and gets a warning? You don't seriously believe anyone is going to change their mind at this point, do you? And even if they do, what do you win? A new friend? A sense of self-worth? There are easier ways to gain these, and they don't require ruining anyone's enjoyment of a TV show. What, to cut to the chase, is the fucking point?
I’ve made it to the fifth episode and it really does feel like a continuation of TNG. It even has the same flaws as TNG. It’ll be interesting to see what the second season is like.
At least there weren't African tribesmen in space, there was no Q and Chakoteven* was shoved down the Memory Hole at the first opportunity. All worth my $5.99 a month *God, I hate C/7 as much as I did the first time I watched Voyager in 2001 I hate it like Mewa hates Firefly
Yes @14thDoctor I a agree that Kurtzman is dumb when there are warriors like the Klingons and he doesn’t understand how big the universe is. That and the Federation hasn’t chartered the entire universe.
1. The Klingons, for the most part, are all about brute force as fighters. When the Klingons tried to take DS9, their assault teams were repelled by a combination of b-list Starfleet, Bajoran militia, and Odo's deputies. Do those sound like the greatest warriors in the universe to you? 2. Obviously they're going to hype the new big bad as the most dangerous most badass enemy we've ever seen. Remember when the Ferengi were built up to be the most dangerous guys out there? Then the Borg? Then the Dominion? Then Species 8472? Then the Hirogen? Then the Borg again? Then Future Guy? Then the Klingons again? Surely you understand it's just empty hype. 3. Who gives that much of a shit about "female empowerment in Picard" like it's some sort of negative? Like Star Trek hasn't glorified dude after dude for decades while no one complained. 4. Oh, and "the universe" is always short for "the known universe." Don't be pedantic.
But 7 is currently a Shroedinger's Character right now. She quite clearly took the transporter disk and said that the Rangers had a ship coming to pick her up in a few minutes. That pretty much means if her character was popular with the fans, then she survived. If she's not popular, but also not hated, then she'll appear dead until they need her to add some drama (or surprise) to an episode/season.
Lol Klingons got bested by fucking Ferengi. I understand you have a boner for fascists, but are Klingons really the example you want to go with?
Or that it severely lacks Picard’s convictions and speeches. The majority of the time they spend emasculating him
